Demi Lovato And Max Ehrich End Their Engagement After 2 Months

Relationships in Hollywood tend to move at a different speed than other relationships, which is why it's not so surprising when famous couples get engaged very quickly into a relationship. However, that doesn't mean it always works out.

Demi Lovato and her former fiancé Max Ehrich have called off their engagement after only two months, Us Weekly confirms.

Demi and Max announced their engagement on July 23rd.

The couple, who had only been dating for four months, shared the news on Instagram, with Demi writing, "I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life."

Recently, the couple created headlines when Demi's fans began compiling Twitter threads showing Max's previous obsession with Selena Gomez and with becoming famous.

Demi addressed this via her Instagram story, writing, "It's really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. If women have conflict that's between them NOT YOU," although she didn't mention Max directly and Max himself did not respond other than deleting his Twitter account.

After the news that their engagement was called off broke, Demi shared a photo to her Instagram story that caught fans' attention.

In the series of pictures of Demi getting her hair and makeup done, fans noticed that Demi was no longer wearing her engagement ring, seemingly confirming what various sources had announced.

Demi and Max have not yet publicly commented at time of writing.

However, fans also noticed that Demi's mother, sister, and a few friends had unfollowed Max on Instagram.

Break-ups are extremely difficult even when they're not done in the public eye, so we are wishing Demi and Max nothing but the best going forward.
